CHINHOYI

Following its collaboration and funding from the ESA-Hub, Chinhoyi has achieved notable advancements in data driven decision-making and enforcement strategies within the city's Engineering Department to enhance operational efficiency. 

The implementation of open data for planning has also positively influenced other shared service departments that depend on Engineering’s information and data, leading to greater impact and a more strategic focus.

CHIREDZI

Upon completion of the Chinhoyi OSM Mapping project, we discovered a town located in the South-Eastern parts of Zimbabwe within Masvingo Province that had little to no mapped infrastructure mapped on Open street Map. 

Since this discovery, we have been collaborating with the Youth Mapper chapters across Zimbabwe's Institutions of Higher learning to make meaningful contributions in placing the Town of Chiredzi on the map.
